Thurgood Marshall College Fund DOD Summer Internship

The TMCF Internship Program is an integral part of a students’ education. It helps students successfully apply classroom concepts to real-world challenges. With every internship experience, students have an opportunity to grow both personally and professionally while making meaningful contributions to their employer. Through strategic relationships with major companies and government agencies, TMCF offers employers access to highly qualified member-school students while opening the door for students to develop professional connections that can lead to full-time employment after graduation.

TMCF offers a 10-week internship with the Department of Defense [DoD]. Interns work in various locations across the United States in state-of-the-art facilities conducting research and/or contributing to the overall business enterprise. TMCF interns work on challenging projects while attending career readiness workshops and webinars and receive one-on-one coaching. These opportunities at the Department of Defense are only open to STEM majors at this time.

Please see the fact sheet attached.  Feel free to share it with your students who are STEM majors interested in the opportunity with a 3.0 or better GPA, US Citizens, and willing to relocate for 10 weeks during the internship.

Application deadline for the student internships is March 4th, 2018 at 11:59pm EST.  For information on additional internships and deadlines, please visit our Employment Opportunities Page.
