Summer Research Internship in Engineering at Old Dominion U

This REU Site entitled “Electrochemical Clean Fuel Production and Applications” offers opportunities for undergraduate students, working with faculty mentors and industry professionals, to engage in multidisciplinary electrochemical clean fuel research activities during a 10-week summer program. In addition to active energy research projects, students will participate in research seminars, workshops on writing and communications training, field trips related to clean energy, and career development activities.
Research Areas: Biofuels Synthesis and Upgradation, Hydrogen Production (solar, bio, and wind), Catalyst Development, Electrolysis, Fuel Cell, Waste Energy Recovery, Computational Electrochemistry, and Energy Conversion

Compensation: $5,000 stipend + travel support
