NSF REU Biomedical Translational Science & Technology Development

Undergraduates are invited to apply for an NSF-funded Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) training program at Binghamton University. Students will spend 10 weeks performing research in biomedical translational science and technology development. They will learn to integrate engineering principles with medical and life sciences, translating biomedical discoveries into bedside technologies for treating many diseases, such as diabetes and cancers.

ELIGIBILITY
• Undergraduate students majoring in any science or engineering field
• Students who have completed 60 hours of coursework with a minimum GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale)
• U.S. citizens or permanent residents enrolled in a U.S. college or university
• Students from underrepresented groups, including women, are strongly encouraged to apply
