Multi-disciplinary Research Opportunity for Undergrads at Oklahoma State University

The Department of Physics at Oklahoma State University is pleased to announce a new NSF REU (Research Experience for Undergraduates) award, beginning in May, 2018. The grant will allow undergraduate physics majors to experience an intense 10-week summer research program working with faculty researchers in the Department of Physics. A summer research stipend is provided. The application deadline is April 15, 2018. The summer’s program will run from May 21 to July 27, 2018.

Compensation will include a $5,000 stipend for the ten weeks, housing (single bedroom suites), meal plan, travel funds to present research at the appropriate APS national meeting, and partial support for travel from their home institution to OSU and back.
