Latest Updates from Lincoln!

  • Assistant professor, Mrs. Stallings took 3 students (Alvin Ransom-technology, Marcus Brockenstedt-CIS, and Roosevelt Stallings-CS) in early June to a one-week Engineering  Workshop at the Kansas City Honeywell Engineering Plant.  This was arranged through the MSIPP (Minority Serving Institute Partnership Program) Consortium
  • Ardell Miller, pre-engineering major attended a two-week internship (July 14-24) at the Hampton University through the MSIPP consortium
  • Mrs. Stallings organized a summer camp for middle school students “Investigating the E in STEM” through the MSIPP consortium from July 21-24 at LU.  The camp was presented by Assistant Professor, Mr. Meysami and Instructor, Mr. Palangpour with student helpers: Nana Bekoe-pre-engineering, Roosevelt Stallings-CS, and Zachary Uhlmann-CS
  • Mrs. Stallings organized a summer camp for high school students “An Introduction to Engineering Principles using CREO” through the MSIPP consortium from July 28-31 (going on right now at LU).  The camp was presented by Mr. Meysami and Mr. Palangpour with student helpers: Nana Bekoe-pre-engineering, Roosevelt Stallings-CS, and Zachary Uhlmann-CS
  • Assistant Professor Mrs. Cynthia Morin is taking students, Darrion Long-CS, Patrick Temme-pre-engineering, and Joshua Mosby-math to an engineering workshop at the Y-12 Research Center, Oak Ridge, TN.  This has been arranged by Mrs. Stallings through the MSIPP consortium.
