Apply to be a Mentor for Wells Fargo Fellows

The Wells Fargo Academic Leaders Fellowship Program is looking for student leaders who want to make a difference this summer by participating in the 2018 Wells Fargo Academic Leaders Fellowship Program Summer Institute (WFALFPSI) as a mentor.

If you are an education professional, please forward this invitation to qualifying college students who you think will be great mentors for incoming first-year college students!

The mentor Application is now open, and closes Sunday April 15, 2018. We recommend that you apply early as we select our mentors on a rolling basis.

Minimum Requirements:
1. Must be a college student in four-year public/private university or college.
2. Must have cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.

Selected mentors will serve as the point-of-contact for their students in the weeks leading up to, during, and following the WFALFPSI. Mentors must be currently enrolled in college, pass a background check, and remain on site for the entire WFALFPSI program including orientation. Selected mentors will be notified in late April with further instructions.

WFALFPSI is a four-day, overnight, conference designed to welcome and empower the 20 Wells Fargo Fellows. It is a place for our Fellows to meet and connect with each other and expand their professional networks by participating in workshops and social activities aimed at preparing and inspiring them for their first year in college. Once selected, you will have an opportunity to serve them as their mentor throughout the conference.

Date: Wednesday, June 27, 2018 to Sunday, July 1, 2018
Location: Charlotte, North Carolina

You must be fully available during the aforementioned dates in order to apply to be a mentor. If you have any questions, please review The WFALFPSI Mentor Application FAQs or contact us via the Message Center
